Can I use the Curt Dual Receiver Tube Adapter # D-192 with a Cargo Carrier

Question:

will this adapter handle a handicap scoter and its flat carrier? Im scraping each time i go out a drive way or slight incline?? I had a class 2 put on my 2006 500 limited ford awd. if not im open for sugestions.

You can use the Curt Dual Receiver Tube Adapter, # D-192, as long as the Class II trailer hitch on your Ford Five Hundred has a 2 inch x 2 inch receiver. Class II receivers can have either a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening or a 2-inch receiver opening.

If you have a 1-1/4 hitch opening on your Ford 500, I would consider upgrading your hitch to a 2-inch receiver opening like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75299, which will work well with a cargo carrier and scooter.
