Is Foot of Thule TracRac CapRac # TH29200XT Made from Metal or Plastic
Question:
The new THULE Trac rac feet appear to have plastic. Is this the case? Are they strong enough for the 500# load rating? Are they made from a reinforced material that can handle the heavy rating load? I know you sell the old original all meta feet?towers, but do you have the original Swivel Brackets # TA29203 available or a compatible mount base for the origianl metal towers? Thank you

There is some plastic on the mounts of the Thule TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack for Camper Shell/Truck Cap # TH29200XT that you referenced but what provides the support is actually metal. It does have the full 500 lb weight capacity that is was tested for.
