Solution to Allow Towing Motorcycle Trailer and Carrying Motorcycle Carrier

Question:

Hi Regarding the RM 077-2 and RM 077-8 Is it possible to hook up trailer with a motorcross bike on the lower hitch while using the upper hitch with an ultimate MX hauler lifting a mini dirt bike all at the same time ? Description: on the lower hitch the trailer weight is 133 lbs made of aluminum holding a 275 lbs motorcross bike On the upper hitch : The MX hauler weight is 26 lbs lifting a 176 lbs mini dirt bike Thanks for any help

We may have a similar solution that would work but the Roadmaster dual hitch adapter part # RM-077-8 that you referenced can't be used with a trailer as it was designed for use with a tow bar. Instead the Curt # D210 would be a better option as it has a ball mount platform for towing the trailer and a hitch opening above it for the hitch carrier.

The weight capacity of the # D210 checks out based on what you listed as well.
