Replacement Axle Option For Dexter # 11 5200lb Torflex Axle With Damaged Spindle
Question:
I have a spindle that got ruined on my axle. Is there a replacement spindle to weld in or do I need to buy a complete axle?

I have a complete replacement option for you, but unfortunately Dexter does not sell nor encourage just the spindle on your Dexter P-11 SLR Axle being replaced.
With that said you have a # 11 Torflex axle with a 5200lb rating and while we do not offer torflex axles we do have the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension # ASR5200S01 which is pretty similar in design in the sense that neither option uses leaf springs like a standard axle would.
The key difference is the # ASR5200S01 is two separate components with one getting bolted to the frame on each side of your trailer. Adding some 2" square tubbing between the each side is recommended for additional strength.
This kit has the exact same 5200lb of your current axle and would allow you to reuse your current braking assemblies and hub and drums. If the current components are worn then we have the replacement hub and drum # 8-201-5UC3 and left side brake assembly # AKEBRK-7L-SA and right side brake assembly # AKEBRK-7R-SA.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
