Switching From a 215/70R14 To a 215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire

The trailer tire is at 215 70 r14. Can I replace with st 215 75 r14? Thanks

You can change to a slightly larger tire like the Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10229 as long as you have adequate clearance to fit the larger tire. The new tire is going to be 3/4" taller overall. This will account to 3/8" taller in your fender area. A good rule is to use 3" for adequate clearance and to allow your suspension to articulate. There will be no difference in the width compared to your current tire.
Be sure to also verify that you have the correct load rating for your trailer tire. The Karrier is rated for 1,870lbs at 50psi which is a load range C.
