I may have another option for you, but the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver #31367 is only confirmed to fit a 2007-2009 Toyota 4Runner, 2007-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser, and 2010-2013 Toyota 4Runner Trail Edition.
At this time there is not a custom fit front mount trailer hitch confirmed to fit your 2008 Toyota Highlander but that does not mean that a universal option like the Draw-Tite # 41990-07 cannot be installed. You would need to have a local fabricator modify it and weld it to your vehicle.
