A 215/75-15 tire will fit a 15 inch rim and has a rim width range of 5-1/2 to 7-1/2 inches. A 225/75-15 tire also fits a 15 inch rim and has a rim width range of 5 to 7 inches. Assuming the width of your 15 inch rim is within the 5-1/2 to 7-1/2 inch range of the 215/75-15 tire you will be able to substitute it.

Keep in mind, the 215/75-15 is not a common trailer size so you want to make sure it is designed to be used with your trailer. I would look to see if the tire has ST on it for "special trailer" which would mean it is designed for trailer use. Also, if you are replacing a single tire, the 215/75-15 has a diameter of 27.7 inches and the 225/75-15 has a diameter of 28.4 inches. I would not recommend using two different size tires.

If you would like to replace your existing tire, the Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10251 would be a good choice. It has a maximum load of 2,150 lbs at 50 psi and a speed rating up to 81 mph. It fits 15 inch rims with a width of 6, 6-1/2, and 7 inches.
