Where is the Brake Switch Wire for a Brake Controller on a 2019 Chevy Express 2500

Question:

I have have the trailer brake controller and all the wiring harnesses all wired up, but cannot find any place to pull the vehicle brake signal from. All the discussions I find on your site have not helped as the wire color does not match my vehicle. Any assistance would be great. thanks.

If the wire color does not match, you will need to test your wires to confirm which is the correct. This does happen fairly often, and you will need something like the Circuit Tester # PTW2993 to see which wire has power when the brake pedal is pressed. I included an install video we did on a 2019 Express Van for you to check out, but again, if your wires do not match, you will need to test the wires to find the correct ones.
