Would 7-Way 12 Volt Accessory Circuit Have Ability to Provide 10 Amp Charge
Question:
There are many statements that report the seven pin connector is a maintenance source not a charger but what is a maintenance load? Will my 2015 3500HD supply up to 10 amps continuously as I travel with my 5th wheel? Thanks

The 12 volt power circuit of most vehicles is protected by either a 30 amp or 40 amp fuse/breaker so a 10 amp charge would be possible on this circuit but you'd need to make sure that the wiring on the trailer is a heavier gauge like 10 gauge # 10-1-1.
