To replace your grease caps with oil bath, you will need to measure the bore of the hub, where the cap sits. The Lippert hubs that were used on their axles can have some odd sizes so it is a good idea to double check. With that being said, if the measurement you get is over 2.25", you will need to replace the hubs.
If this is the case, you will need the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb Axles - 8 on 6-1/2 - Oil Bath # 8-219-9UC3-A if your seal has a 2.250" inner diameter, or the # 8-219-9UC3 if the seal has a 2.125" inner diameter. Both of these will come with the oil caps and replacement bearings and everything needed.
If the measurement of the hub bore is 2.25", the Kodiak XL ProLube Kit # XLPROLUBE2440KIT will be the correct part for you. This will require the cleaning of the hubs and bearings, but will not be overly difficult to get done.
