2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Trailer Hitch Hitch Recommendation

Question:

Do you have a recommendation for a 2018 Toyota RAV$ Hybrid trailer hitch? 1 Is there a hitch opening 2inch or 1 1/4 that is more common or is it based on what bike rack is purchased? 2 Do all trailer hitches/bike racks block the view of the rear camera? Thank you,

For your 2018 Toyota RAV4 hybrid the best hitch recommendation I can make is the Curt # C13406 as it has the best towing capacities, has the more popular 2 inch hitch size, is mostly hidden, and has the shortest install time listed. The 2 inch hitch size is more popular than the smaller size, it has more weight capacity, and has more accessories made for it.

The hitch itself wouldn't block the rear camera but if you carried bikes on a bike rack there would be some visual interference caused but in general you can see through the bikes and rack enough to know what's going on behind you.

We do have bike racks like the Hollywood Rack # HR200Z which fit both sizes.
