Can I Purchase the Base Clips Individually without the Rubber Pads for a 2002 VW Jetta

Question:

The MKIV Jetta does not allow for the standard clamp style base clip that I have on my old Yakima Roof Rack. What im looking for is new metal stamp parts that I can swap out to fit the old Jetta system. I do not need the Pads that are in this kit, but just the metal parts. Are those available to purchase by themselves?

If you just need the metal clamps from the BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers # Y06166 for your 2002 Volkswagen Jetta you'll have to unfortunately purchase the whole kit - I confirmed this with my contact at Yakima.

In addition to your crossbars and clamps, you will need the Baseline towers # Y28TR to mount your crossbars system to your 2002 Jetta. Also, if you are planning to mount Yakima HD crossbars, you will need the HD Bar SL Adapter # Y03541 to mount the HD bars to the towers.
