Which Rhino Rack Cross Bars For Rhino Rack Tracks Mounted 31-1/2" Apart

Question:

What is the longest length Rhino Rack Vortex Bars that will fit onto a topper that has installed tracks that are 31.5inch apart measured from the center of one track to another. Ive read that the 54inch bars have 300 mm bottom channels for attaching the towers on either end, which would mean that the narrowest track distance would be 34, too wide for my vehicle. is the 300 mm bottom channel on either end standard, or does it change from length to length?

You're correct that you'll have 300mm (11.8") of space in the channels under the bars and this number is standard across all of their crossbars. For that reason I recommend using the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 49" Long - Qty 2 # RRVA126B-2 you were looking at, since they'll be the longest bars you can mount with only 31-1/2" space between your tracks. These Vortex Aero crossbars will do a good job at reducing some of the wind noise that is associated with roof racks, and Rhino Rack makes a really nice product at little nicer price point compared to some other brands.
