Parts Needed to Install a Brake Controller in a 2013 Ford Edge

THE EDGE HAS THE FACTORY INSTALLED 4 WIRE TOWING PACKAGE. WILL THE CONTROLLER CONNECT TO A PLUG IN THE BOARD OR HAVE TO BE HARD WIRED IN WITH THE INSTALL KIT WHICH I THINK MUST BE INSTALLED

You will need to hardwire in a brake controller on your 2013 Ford Edge.
First you will need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way. For that you will need an Brake Controller Installation Kit # ETBC7. This comes with everything you will need to install a fully functional 7-way and brake controller in your vehicle. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product for you to check out.
If you do not have a brake controller picked out yet check out the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885. This is one of our best selling brake controllers because of of well it works and how easy it is to setup. Check out the review video I attached for this product also.
