Replacement Boat Trailer Slipper Spring for a 1998 Calkins Boat Trailer

Question:

I need to replace the leaf springs on my 1998 23 ft Calkins boat trailer. I have removed one side, and its a slipper style with 4 leafs. on the slipper style it curls up in a U shape, which is the only one like that i see on your site. I am pretty sure its the same spring that i need, but i dont see how to measure the spring i have. From the center pin to the center of the bolt hole on my springs seems to be just about 13 1/4 in. Is this the correct spring i need? thank you! i attached a picture. the bottom two leaves are broke

Based on what you have described and the measurements you have taken I do believe that slipper spring # e33SR is correct. The # e33SR length is 26-1/4 inches so the mid-point length of your existing spring is on par with that. The old springs have probably stretched and worn enough to throw the exact measurement off a bit.
