Error Code on Brake Controller After Breakaway Pin Pulled
Question:
Hi folks, I had to have my trvl trlr towed and the emergency breakaway wire got hung up and pulled out,, it worked and I put it back in and I have trlr breaks but I cantt seem to reset the controller. any tips?

If the breakaway pin was pulled with the trailer hooked up to the tow vehicle then the controller was likely damaged and will need to be replaced. If you remove the connector from the controller and then re-insert with no change then I do recommend replacement. The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 is what I recommend as an industry leading brake controller option. I will plug directly into any old Tekonsha, Draw-Tite, or Reese brake controller.
