Using A Furrion Vision S RV Camera System In Observation Mode In A 2021 Jayco 212QB Travel Trailer

Question:

we purchased the Furrion Vision S 5inch system. Connected the shark fin camera to our 2021 Jayco 212QB which was prewired for it. The monitor is in the truck and we are working on pairing them. My question is, can the monitor be moved to the trailer at night? If so, where is the power cord for the monitor to plug in to the trailer?

The monitor in the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera Systems like the # FCE48TASL-05 require 12v DC power to operate. If Jayco prewired the trailer for Furrion then they most likely also installed a 12v DC Charging Center # DG61023VP somewhere in your 2021 Jayco 212QB as well with a sticker stating you're prewired for observation. You'll be able to plug in the monitor using the same cord you use inside the truck. If they have not, then you can just install one to allow you to use the system as an observation system. You'll need to have the cameras wired to the running lights or directly to the battery instead of the reverse lights to use your system in this way.
