Will Thule OutWay 3 Trunk Mounted Bike Rack fit a Mercedes-Benz E350

Question:

Will the Thule Raceway 3 bike trunk rack fit a Mercedes benz E350 station wagon? year is 2007 . I am worried about the windshild wiper etting crushed on the back. We also have a Mercedes E350 sedan year 2006 which has a typical trunk. I am tinking it will fit better on the sedan but then you cant get into the trunk while its on which would be ok. ...its just that wuith the station wagon you could get to the stuff in the back wifrom inside the car.

The Thule OutWay 3-bike # TH56BV will fit your 2006 Mercedes-Benz sedan, wonderfully. It will also allow for the full carrying capacity of 3 bikes.

Unfortunately, the Thule OutWay 3 # TH56BV is not a compatible fit with your 2007 Mercedes-Benz station wagon. Thule states that the bike carrier is not recommended because the device should not be mounted directly to glass or plastic trim covering the glass, which my research shows your wagon is equipped with.

As you may know the manufactures do not recommend opening either the trunk or rear hatch of any vehicle while a carrying device is mounted. This could damage the vehicle, vehicle components, the carrying device, yourself or others.
