If you have a factory 7-way at the back of your 2011 Dodge Ram you would only need to get a Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3021-P. This will simply plug into the back of your Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 and then plug into the port underneath your dash.
If you do not have a trailer connector you will first need to start with a 4-way. For that I recommend the Draw Tite # 18252 Hardwire kit # 18252. Next you will need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way. For that I recommend the Universal Installation Kit forTrailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product for you to check out also.
