Will Hopkins EasyLift Truck Bed Tailgate Lift Assist Fit A 2014 Ford F250?

Measurements like the torsion bar will fit my vehicle, Ford F250 2014. Wondering why it says it will not fit. Can you give me an explanation why this will not fit in my vehicle.

The Hopkins EasyLift Truck Bed Tailgate Lift Assist # 74211 could potentially work for your 2014 Ford F250, but it has not been tested so I, nor Hopkins, can confirm fitment. Most newer trucks have some sort of lift assist or electronics built into the tailgate which could interfere so you will be on your own as far as fitting this to your truck.

Now, there is a product confirmed to fit your truck that helps lower the tailgate and it is the DeeZee Tailgate Assist Custom Tailgate-Lowering System # DZ43203. This does not aid in lifting the tailgate which I know is what you were looking for, but it does soften the lowering so that it does not slam and cause damage to the truck or anything you are loading or unloading. Installation is simple as you can see in the demonstration video I attached.
