Why is 1-1/8 Inch Socket Needed to Install Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution System
Question:
I was looking at install instructions and would like to know why a 1-1/8 socket is needed?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The 1-1/8 inch socket is needed so that the 3/4-10 bolts that hold the head assembly to the weight distribution shank can be torqued properly to the figure mentioned in step 3 on page 5 of the linked installation instructions. When the instructions refer to the 3/4 inch bolts, they're referring to the diameter of the bolt itself, not the size of the wrench needed to tighten it.
I've linked to an install/setup video for you as well, where my buddy David will walk you through the install and setup of the # BLU47FR TrackPro weight distribution system.
