Weight Distribution Shank For 7 Inches of Drop For Curt Trunnion Style Weight Distribution 17300
Question:
I purchased the Curt 17300 WD system. I now have a Ram 1500 and I cant adjust the head down on the shank low enough to have a level camper. What Curt shank do I need to lower it 7 more inches than it is now with the shank that came with the 17300.

We do have exactly what you need in order to get the drop you need for your Curt Weight Distribution System 17300. The shank that came with the 17300 gave a maximum drop of 1/2 inch, and there is a shank that adds 7 inches of added drop that will work:
- Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17124
This will give you a maximum of 9" of drop with your Curt trunnion bar system, so it can handle the additional 7 inches you are looking for.
