P2 Brake Controller and 7-Way Recommendation for a 2004 Ford F-150 with factory 4-Way
Question:
I have a ford 2004 F-150 and it is equipped with a 4 pole connector. I need to switch to 7 pole blade connector. Here is what I think I need - can you confirm? Part 118247 - blade Connector with PK 12711U and 18136 Mounting Brackets. Part 90885 and 3035P Prodigy P2 Brake Controller with adaptor for Ford F-150. Are these the correct items for basically a PLUG in add on? Is 118247 for Blade connector? I will be pulling a 3500 lb single axle Pop Up Camper with electric Brakes. Thanks.

Everything you picked out is exactly what you need for a plug in play install of a 7-way and brake controller on your 2004 Ford F-150 that has a factory 4 pole.
It sounds like you already watched the install video for the # 118247, but I attached this also.
The 7-way of the # 118247 is the blade style 7-way also.
I attached install videos and installation instructions for these products for you to check out also.
