Will Fifth Wheel Rails have Capacity for 20k Fifth Wheel Hitch
Question:
I currently have a16,000 pound rated fifth wheel plate in my Chevy Duramax. Are my current rails rated high enough to handle the new 20,000 pound rated fifth wheel plate I would like to order. And what are the width and side measurements of the rails.

The great thing about fifth wheel rails is that they will carry the same weight capacity as whatever hitch is installed in them. So if you installed a 20k fifth wheel hitch in the rails you have now like the Reese # RP30928 the overall capacity would be 20k.
