Do I Need an AC or DC Replacement Ceiling Fan Needed For RV?

How to determine ceiling fan replacement options for my 2009 keystone Everest 345s. 12v or 110v or 120v ceiling fan replacement.

You will first need to determine if your current fan operates from AC or DC electrical circuit. I suggest you first look for markings on the fan itself as this is the easiest method. If there are no labels providing this information, review labels of breakers on your electrical distribution box, you will have an AC and DC side. Identify which breaker operates circuit your fan and determine if this is on the DC or AC side. You may also use a multimeter such as the Digital Multimeter, # PT89ZR to check voltage. Place probes against an exposed wire, such as removing face plate of light switch to expose the connected wires.
