Can I Use the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack with the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier # UF48-979033?
Question:
Is it possible to mount the Thule TH302043 and the UF48-979033 motorcycle carrier on a Mercedes 3500and can they both be utilized at the same time? I am searching to be able to carry two bicycles and a 350lb or less motorized scooter at the same time. If I cant do this I will have to consider towing a car and was hoping to avoid that if possible.

As far as using the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack # TH302043 along with the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches # UF48-979033, it really depends on two things: the height of the rear doors on your 2021 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 and the height of your scooter. I did some research, and your rear doors on your van are 61 inches high. With that length, you will be able to mount the Elite Van XT 2's adhesive/permanent installation hardware high enough to give your carrier room on the hitch. You will be able to mount the hardware higher than the attached image (as long as it doesn't interfere with any electrical wiring inside of the door's interior). The picture will give you perspective about how high you can mount the Elite Van XT 2 on your rear doors to accommodate the height of your scooter.
If you need a hitch receiver for your 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500, it depends on the wheelbase that you have (144-inch or 170-inch) and whether you have the factory step bumper or the standard bumper. For a 144-inch or 170-inch wheelbase with a factory step bumper, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75601. For the 144-inch or 170-inch wheelbases with a standard bumper, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75549. Both of these hitches come with all hardware required for an easy bolt-on installation.
