Is the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16515-16021 Compatible with a Turning Point Box

is this hitch compatible with turning point pinbox. also what do you feel is better. sliding hitch or fixed hitch with turning point pinbox.

The Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16515-16021 is compatible with a turning point pinbox like the Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret - 20,000 lbs # RP34FR. You will need to use the Sidewinder Wedge for Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # C16991 with the Reese Sidewinder, to keep it from pivoting in the hitch.
For your 2021 Ram 2500 I believe the turning point pinbox is the better option. I feel this way because your Ram does not have an auto-slide hitch option available. Without the auto-slide you would have to move your truck, get out and adjust the hitch, move your truck. You would continue to do this until you have made your turn. With the turning point pinbox you do not have to leave your truck.
