Are the Replacement Rivets Included With the Draw-Tite Hitch Compatible with 2015 BMW X5

Question:

Hi, Please confirm whether the plastic rivets that come with the hitch will work on a 2015 BMW X5. It seems that it will work for a 2016 X5. If I contact BMW, what do I ask for? Do you by any chance have that BMW part no? Thanks.

According to my contact at Draw-Tite, the plastic rivets included with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75600 will fit your 2015 BMW X5. I am also attaching an installation video for this hitch on a 2015 X5 where they use the rivets to reattach the wheel well molding.

If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the Curt Wiring Harness # C56190KIT for wiring. This custom wiring harness plugs directly into existing wiring for quick and easy installation. It will provide a 4-way connection at the back of your vehicle to power a trailer's signal lights.

For a ball mount, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989899. This mount has a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball.
