Is Sliding B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch BWRVK3400-5W a Fit for 2016 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:

I have a BandW hitch in my truck, but after damaging my cab of my truck I need to change over to a slider hitch. I added pictures of my current set up and wanted to know if part BWRVK3400-5W would fit my current set up. I have a 2015 GMC 2500 Sierra SLT.

The sliding model of the B&W Companion you mentioned, part # BWRVK3400-5W would indeed be compatible with the B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch you show in the photo you kindly provided.

When slid rearward, the sliding model hitch will provide 12 inches of additional clearance between the front of the 5th wheel and the rear of your truck cab.

I don't know if you're aware of it, but the sliding base is available as a separate part, as part # BWRVB3405. You can simply re-use the head unit from your existing hitch with the # BWRVB3405 slider, and save yourself a few dollars.
