Recommended 2 Bike Rack for E-Bike and Cruiser with Aggressive Step Through Frames

Question:

I have a 2021 Toyota hybrid highlander with Toyota 2 inch hitch. And have a townie path go ebike and a beach cruiser bike to tow. Both are step thru bikes with fenders and rear racks. It would good to have a ramp for loading and for the rack to tilt . I have been looking at the Thule easy fold and was wondering if you have other options or recommendations? Look forward to some expert advice , thank you.

The Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 is a great choice for heavy bikes and I almost never steer anyone away from it, but I recommend using the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # Y36FR instead. The OnRamp will tilt away from your Highlander to allow you access to the rear cargo area and comes with a ramp to make loading your bikes easier, so it's very similar to the EasyFold XT in those respects. However, the advantage of the OnRamp is that the clamps that hold the bike are adjustable and well suited for bikes with aggressive frame step-throughs, so you won't need a bike frame adapter bar # 64005 on your bikes like you likely would using the EasyFold.

I've linked a short review video of the OnRamp for you to check out as well, but I highly recommend the OnRamp in this situation over the EasyFold XT.
