How To Install The HappiJac Truck Mounted Camper Tie-Downs

Question:

I have a 2007 f-150. The application says these brackets will work, but Im having a hard time visualizing how they attach to the frame and where. They dont appear to be nearly long enough to reach from the outside of my frame to a location outside of the bed to attach the camper. Do you have any pictures of them mounted to the frame? I cant find anything online anywhere.

The support braces in the HappiJac Truck-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # LC182860 are going to attach to the cross frame to provide support for the anchors which will bolt through the bed wall and into the braces. The rear anchors will bolt through the bumper.

You'll also need some turnbuckles to properly secure your camper to your bed. I recommend the HappiJac Original Turnbuckles for Camper Tie-Downs - Stainless Steel - Qty 4 # LC182898. These stainless steel turnbuckles allow you to firmly secure your truck bed camper to your tie-down system. Internal springs on front turnbuckles help to reduce stress on tie-down points.
