Adding Brakes to a 3,500 lb Trailer Axle with 6 Lug Wheels  

Question:

Have a small camping trailer that I am considering putting on electric brakes. Trailer single axle is rated at 3500 The existing trailer axle hubs are for a Toyota FJ Cruiser...6 lug What would you suggest for equipment and pricing? Any information would be greatly appreciated..thanks

We have hub/drums for a 3,500 lb axle with a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern with the # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K which you'd then just need the brake assemblies # AKEBRK-35R-SA and # AKEBRK-35L-SA.

Then to upgrade your 4-way to a 7-way all you'd need is the part # e99011 and you'd have that taken care of as well.
