How Much is Too Much Pressure Build-Up In Trailer Tires

As the day heats up and we are towing With E rated 10 ply tires at 80 PSI the PSI will increase. What is to much pressure?

If you are worried about pressure increase due to heat build-up then the best way to get ahead of the issue is with a TPMS that will warn you when temperature and or pressure build up is to a point that could lead to the potential for a blowout. I recommend the TireMinder A1AS TPMS for RVs and Trailers part # TM79FR. In the owner's manual for this system you will setup alerts that will alarm you to rising temperatures or pressure (The high pressure alarm should be set at 20-25% over your normal tire pressure) so you can either slow down or pull over to cool off the tires. If you're looking for specifics, tire pressure data charts are available on your tire manufactures website.
