Installation of MaxxAir Replacement Lift Operator

Question:

DO YOU SIMPLY INSTALL THIS UNIT AND IT KNOWS WHERE OPEN AND SHUT ARE. iS THERE ANY TUNING TO BE DONE. I SUPPOSE THE CONTROLS KNOW WHEN THE DOOR IS OPEN OR CLOSED RIGHT?

When installing the # MA10-20281K-1AF replacement operator, you might need to 'clock' the mechanism slightly which could take a little bit of trial and error, but the replacement operator does include installation instructions. I've provided a couple screen shots from the instructions for you.

The # MA10-20281K-1AF is for power lift models, and # MA10-20281K-3CF is for manual lift models.

Photo F and G are for models that use a metal L bracket for the operator and H is for models with the operator bolted directly to the fan body.
