Will The Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness Work on My 2002 Ford F-250 Diesel

Will this work on a 02 F250 Diesel. My orginal one was removed by someone and I have an empty receptor under the spare tire

The connector at the rear of your vehicle may or may not be fully functional for the 7-way Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, item # 118242. If the connector is the same as shown on the product page you will need to use a circuit tester, item # PTW2993 if you need one, to make sure that all the wiring you will need to the connector is functional. If the connector was used before and was removed, then the wiring should be complete, and you should be able to connect the replacement harness and be ready to go.

If your connector is not fully functional you will need to hardwire your truck with a 4-Pole Hardwire Kit, item # 18252, and then use a Brake Controller 7- & 4-Way Installation Kit, item # ETBC7, to wire the functions you will need for a 7-way connector.
