Does The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger Have A Transfer Switch

Question:

I have a trailer using 400w of solar into 2,12v 100ah batteries. I have an A/C PANEL WIRED for 50 amp shore power, a 12v DC fuse panel and a transfer switch. My question is, does the above listed charger/converter also act as a transfer switch? Can I remove the xfer switch in favor of the capability of your unit?

The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger, # PD9160ALV is not a transfer switch, it converts AC shore power to DC power to run 12V loads and charge a battery bank. Connect this to your AC circuit to charge your battery bank from shore power when available, designed for Lithium Batteries. The converter uses a high voltage output to provide the proper charging profile for lithium batteries. If your RV already has a stock converter charger, it will need to be removed to ensure this unit operates properly and will work in conjunction with your solar controller to provide needed charge and shut off when needed.

This also provides continuous power to your DC breaker panel to run 12V loads. You should be able to connect this to your current DC panel to provide needed power from shore connection.
