B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch That Fits 2008 Ford F-450 Super Duty Long Bed
Question:
Id like to know if you sell an underbed mount system for a 2008 Ford F450 long bed that will fit a 25k Companion hitch, or would I need to look at a Patriot hitch instead? Truck currently has a Reese above-bed rail setup.

There is an underbed mounting system for a B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch that fits your 2008 Ford F-450 Super Duty long bed, but only for the 20,000 lb Companion, as there isn't a system that will work with the 25,000 lb OEM versions that fit in pucks. So if the 20k option is something that you're okay with, here is exactly what you will need:
- B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W
- Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1108-5W
This will give you the best possible set up for towing for your '08 F-450 as the Companion is considered by most to be the highest-quality 5th wheel hitch in the industry, and the underbed rails also double as B&W's gooseneck hitch if you ever decide or have the need to pull a gooseneck.
This is the route I would go, but since you already have base rails and just want to go with a quality B&W 5th wheel hitch without changing out the rail system you can go with the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3255.
And while it is likely you already have a 5th wheel wiring harness, just in the interest of being thorough in case you do not, the correct fit for your '08 F-450 is the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 50-97-410.
I have added some links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
