Can Ultra Fab A-Frame Jack # UF38-944037 Actually Power from Vehicle 7-Way

Question:

seems many on Amazon are having trouble with these working with the 7 plugins . Will this work? Our battery is in the back of our rv so running a power jack wire to the battery would entail over 500 to install one without a plug. This seems to be the best choice but need to know it will work

The only way the Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack w/ 7-Way Plug # UF38-944037 would have issues running off of the 7-way of your truck would be if your truck's 7-way just didn't have the amperage rating needed to power the jack.

So this will work on your 2009 Ford F-150's 7-way but worse case scenario you'd have to run heavier gauge wire to the 12-volt accessory circuit of your 7-way which is the 1:00 pin of your 7-way as you look into it's opening. For that you could run 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) from that pin directly to your battery through a breaker like part # 9510 and you for sure would have the amperage needed. A lot of times newer vehicles will have thinner gauge wire here which would cause the issues you saw in the reviews mentioned.
