Comparing Kuat Transfer and NV for 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon with Curt Hitch
Question:
I am interested in the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR. I have an 2019 Subaru Outback Limited. What Id like to know before purchasing it is: 1. Will it block the back up camera which is located 23 inches up from the bottom of the bumper and 29 inches from the side of the car? 2. Will I need a hitch adapter to extend the rack? And is the Curt Trailer hitch the best one for my car? Id like to get both if they will be the best for my car. Additional question: Is there a substantial difference between the KU84FR listing for and the NV 2.0 listing for ? Id rather get the less expensive one. Ill just be carrying 2 bikes.

With the Kuat Transfer V2 part # KU84FR installed in a hitch on your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon like the Curt # C13410 you'd still be able to see enough in your back up camera. The Curt hitch is the one I would recommend as it's mostly hidden, has plenty of weight capacity, and is rated really high from our customers who have tried it.
The Kuat NV2.0 # BA22B is considered to be Kuat's nicest bike rack. It's a slightly older design but it really just works well and is highly regarded. The Transfer is more of a minimalistic take on that style of bike rack which is why it costs a little less. Both are excellent racks that would work well but I would recommend the Transfer for you since it would have less bike rack material that could potentially block the rear camera plus it's more cost effective.
