Moving Exhaust Hanger On 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis W/ Dual Exhaust To Install Curt Hitch 13707
Question:
From reading an answer to a question about mounting this hitch on a dual exhaust Mercury Grand Marquis you state the the passenger side exhaust hanger must be relocated. I would take this to a mechanic to install. Can you give more guidance on relocating the exhaust hanger. Do you have any pics by any chance? Thanks

We have not had a chance to install the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13707 on a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis with dual exhaust so I do not have a picture of video to show you, but it will be pretty straight forward and obvious how much and where to relocate the exhaust hanger while installing the hitch. There is not an exact measurement or place it needs to be moved to, just where ever clears the hitch.
The mechanic you are taking the vehicle to for the install will be able to modify the hanger as needed and weld it in its new home.
I included a video of the # 13707 for you to take a look at.
