It sounds like you have a 7-way connector installed on your 2016 Toyota Highlander that does not have all of the functions connected.
If that is the case then you will need the # 10-2-1 and # 5506. One wire from the # 10-2-1 will run from the 7-way connector to the the positive terminal of the battery with 40 amp circuit breaker included with the # 5506, and the other wire of the # 10-2-1 will run from the 7-way connector to where the trailer brake controller will get installed.
You will then need the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 you mentioned along with the wiring harness # 7865 and make the following connections:
Blue wire from controller harness to the wire you ran from the 7-way connector.
Red wire from controller harness to cold side of the stop light switch that only has power when the brake pedal is pressed. You can identify this wire by using a circuit tester like # PTW2993.
Black wire from controller harness to positive terminal of your battery with the 20 amp circuit breaker included with the # 5506.
White wire from controller harness to ground.
I included a video of the # 90195 being installed in a similar 2018 Toyota Highlander for you to take a look at.
