Parts Needed to Install Thule Motion XT Cargo Box on Roof of 2015 Toyota 4Runner with OEM Rack

Question:

Hello I was interested in buying this item with the part number TH629906. I have a 2015 toyota 4Runner with a factory rack. I have been told by thule that i need to modify my crossbars for this to be compatible with my car. Do you know what crossbars or modifications i need to have for this box to work? Thank you.

I checked with Thule and to fit the Thule Motion XT cargo box part # TH629906 that you referenced you'd need to install one of their roof racks to the raised rails you have now since the OEM bars are not compatible. For that the Thule Square Bar roof rack part numbers # TH712400 and # TH710401 would be a great option.
