Hollywood Racks Traveler 5 Bike Carrier on a Jeep

Im trying to determine if I can use this bike rack to carry 5 bikes on my jeep without problems. My vehicle is a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and I have a C13172 Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2.

Yes, you can. However, I caution you about the amount of weight you load that far back from axle and the effects it will have on your suspension. Too much and it will squat the back end of your 2017 Jeep Cherokee causing lighter steering control.

I looked up the specs on your Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C13172, and that shows a 750 lbs TW. The Hollywood Racks Traveler 5 Bike Carrier, # HR9200 has a max capacity of 35 lbs. per bike, 5 bikes plus its 36 lb. weight. This would be a max of 211 pounds for bikes and bike rack on your available 750 pound TW of the # C13172. You would only be using a small portion of your capacity.
