We have many kayak carriers that are compatible with the SportRack Roof Rack, # SR1010. My favorite kayak carriers are the J-style kayak carriers due to their unique design. There are many different kayak carriers to choose from. SportRack offers the J-Style Kayak Carrier, # SR5511. A few other carriers that I would recommend are the Thule Hull-A-Port Pro # TH834 and the Yakima JayLow # Y04073.
You will be able to fit two J-style kayak carriers on the SportRack roof rack on your 2011 Subaru Legacy. The crossbars that come with the SportRack roof rack measure 50 inches long and the J-style carriers carry the kayaks at an angle, making it easier to fit more than one kayak on your roof.
