The install of the Tekonsha Primus IQ part # TK90160 that you referenced does not require a custom install harness as your truck does not have a plug under the dash and instead has blunt cut wires that you'd just have to wire directly to the controller. Check out the install video link I attached to this page that shows how a similar Tekonsha brake controller installs on a similar GMC Sierra as yours.
