Yes. The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch # C31069 does require drilling holes for installation, but this would be the case for any front mounted hitch on the 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT.
I've linked the instructions for this hitch to this answer, but you will need a 17/32" drill bit to drill through the steel frame.
