As your 20.5x8.0-10 tires on your 1976 Apache Ramada are no longer available most will change over to the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire - 205/65-10 # AM1HP54 as the closest size available at 8.3" wide and 20.6" in diameter.

I like changing to a Kenda KR25 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Aluminum HWT Wheel # AM31208HWT as long as it will not have any clearance issues. The radial tire construction is much better for use on the highway and the aluminum wheels will hold up better against corrosion. This tire is much narrower(2.6") at only 5.7" wide, and it is also taller(0.7") at 21.3".

To ensure that you have enough clearance for the taller tires you will need to ensure that the extra 3/8" of height will not interfere with any of the fenders or structure under the trailer. I like to see at least 3" of clearance as that is generally what the suspension will move vertically. You should have no sidewall clearance issues as the tire is narrower but understand that with the narrower tires they will sit farther in the wheel wells and you will lose some side to side stabilty both while driving and parked using the Ramada.
