Recommended Demco Autoslider For A 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty And 2021 Heartland 5th Wheel

I believe I found the correct Demco Autoslider hitch, but it is offered in a below the rail and above the rail designs. For a 2015 F250 4x4 stock height, what would be the recommended hitch to tow a 2021 Heartland 5th wheel with the Rota Flex? I currently have a tonneau cover, but could do without if the recommended hitch is above rail. Thank you!

For your 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 6-3/4 Foot Bed with OEM Prep Pkg you'll want to use the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Ford Super Duty Prep Package - 18K Item # DM8550024. It will drop right into your puck system without needing any adapters and allow you an extra 14" of clearance for tight turns with your 2021 Heartland 5th Wheel automatically. The puck system is a below bed design and makes installation super simple and easy.

To fit with your Rota Flex pin box you'll also need the Demco Hijacker Autoslide Capture Plates for Trailair Rota-Flex Pin Boxes Item # DM6171. This will prevent the king pin from rotating inside your trailer hitch.

The # DM8550024 has a max height of 18-1/4" tall and the bed sides of your vehicle are 20" tall so you should be able to use your tonneau cover while the hitch is in place.
