Is there a automatic transfer switch to control the 12 volt inverter and 50 amp shore power? We have a better charging system in are RV converter .Is there an advantage to having a inverter charger

The way the Go Power Inverter, # 34278156 that you linked to works is to be connected to your RV's AC battery bank providing 12 Volt DC output. That battery bank is charged from the AC input of the shore power connection, or solar, or generator.
