Recommended Boat Trailer Tires Wider Than Current 4.80x12 Tires

Question:

Currently have 4.80x12 tires with 4 on 4 wheel installed on a boat trailer I bought used. Dont want to go with a taller tire, would make loading/ unloading harder, but want a wider tire with a higher load and speed rating. Your suggestion?

I have a solution for you, but I'm not aware of a 12 inch tire that is wider than 4.80" and not taller than the 20.5" diameter of the 4.80x12 tires you're currently using. With that said, you could go up to the Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM30790, which are 0.8" wider than your current tires; they're also about 0.8" taller. These tires would be a good way to add some width without adding significant height to the trailer and they come installed on a 4 on 4 bolt pattern wheel that's really good looking.

I've linked a review video of these tires for you to check out, but if you can tell me more about the weight of your trailer and what load range tires you've currently got and I can see if there's something better suited for your trailer.
